Letters from Children in School to Supporters

ASCAH

I feel good to say hallo to you all. This year I am in class four (junior primary) and I am doing fine. My favorite subjects are English and social science. My teachers are good. I also have many friends in my class.

In future, I want to become a  nurse, God willing. At school we are given free lunch. I play netball and my school is the current champion in the region.  It is good to attend school because that is where we get a chance to build our future lives.

That is why I say thank you for all your help to keep me in school together with my other friends who are also members of  Ruai  UU Church.

ELIJAH

Hi, *I am now in class in  my first year in high school  and  I ask you to remember me in your prayers to succeed in my studies.

In high school , we learn Mathematics, English language, Kiswahili language, computer chemistry and physics .Mathematics and English are my favorite subject . This is because I wish to become a pilot in future and in piloting knowledge of proper communication skills and good calculations are vital. This does not mean that the other science subjects are not important. In fact I perform equally well in class on science subject too. My class is very competitive and I have to work much harder in order to catch up with some very bright boys and two smart girls. Apart from the studies in these subjects, we are also given opportunity to get involved in extra curricula activities like, sporting, drama and tours.

This gives us very good opportunities to explore and discover our talents. As a result, we grow in a wholesome society and I am very happy about this.

I must thank you for enabling me to join this highly performing school. I am almost sure that my future is very bright because I know I will work hard and finally be able to excel. Thanks for your continued support towards us. I’m sorry to tell you that I was  sent out of school last week because of school fees arrears for one semester.I ask you to pray for me and to my friends who have the same problem.
I love you all.
Yours Elijah.
